Pablo Enrique Ruiz

Pablo Enrique Ruiz is an Argentine midfielder from Comodoro Rivadavia, born on 20 December 1998. He began at Comisión de Actividades Infantiles before moving to San Lorenzo’s academy at 14, and he represented Argentina at under-17 level. In 2017, Ruiz joined San Luis de Quillota, making 10 appearances before moving to Real Salt Lake in 2018. He developed with Real Monarchs and helped them win the 2019 USL Championship. A loan spell with Austria’s FC Pinzgau Saalfelden added overseas experience before Ruiz established himself with RSL. At Real Salt Lake, Pablo Ruiz evolved from an attacking midfielder into a deeper playmaker, using progressive passing and positional awareness to connect defence with attack. Operating centrally or defensively, he helps control tempo, switch play and contribute through disciplined coverage and set-piece delivery.
