Patrick Emeka Nwadike

Patrick Emeka Nwadike is a Swedish defender who primarily operates at centre-back, standing 1.90 metres tall. He developed in the youth ranks of Landskrona BoIS before beginning senior football with IK Wormo in 2018. In 2019, he returned to Landskrona, where he made 42 appearances and scored five goals. His performances earned him a move to IK Sirius in 2021, giving him a path into the Allsvenskan. Across four seasons, he recorded 47 appearances, although injuries restricted his involvement. On 1 July 2025, Nwadike joined Slovak club Spartak Trnava on a free transfer. He then featured in UEFA Europa League and Conference League qualifying matches, combining aerial strength with proactive defending and short passing from the back. Although primarily a centre-back, Nwadike can also cover at right-back, completing his progression from Sweden’s lower leagues to European competition.
