Paul Mbong
Paul Mbong is a Maltese forward born in Marsaskala on 2 September 2001. He began his youth career at Hibernians before joining Birkirkara’s nursery in 2016. Mbong made his senior debut for Birkirkara on 8 March 2019 in a 2–0 win over Tarxien Rainbows, then scored his first senior goal against Valletta in February 2020. He spent the following seasons with Birkirkara, making 135 league appearances and scoring 13 goals. His time with the club included winning the Maltese FA Trophy in 2022–23. In July 2025, Mbong moved to Serbian side FK Čukarički, before returning to Malta on loan with Floriana in February 2026. Internationally, he debuted for Malta against the Faroe Islands in September 2020 and scored his first international goal against Ukraine in October 2023.
