Patrizio Masini

Patrizio Masini is an Italian midfielder born in La Spezia on January 27, 2001. He developed in Genoa’s youth system and began his senior career with Sambenedettese in 2020. A move to Lecco in January 2021, followed by a further season there, gave him regular experience in Serie C. After returning briefly to Genoa, Masini joined Novara before moving to Ascoli for the 2023–24 Serie B campaign. He scored twice in 25 league appearances for Ascoli, marking an important step in his progression. Masini returned to Genoa in July 2024 and made his Serie A debut against Bologna on October 19. In the following season, he made 26 league appearances and scored his first top-flight goal. Known for tackling, blocking passing lanes and competing in duels, Masini has developed from a box-to-box midfielder into a more defensive presence for Genoa.
