Pascal David Loretz

Pascal David Loretz is a Swiss goalkeeper born in Lucerne on 1 June 2003. He began his development at SC Kriens before joining the FC Luzern academy in 2014. Loretz appeared for Luzern’s reserve side in 2020 and signed his first professional contract in June 2021. After injuries to Luzern’s first two goalkeepers, he made his senior debut against BSC Young Boys in February 2023, helping secure a 1–1 draw. By June 2023, he had become the club’s primary goalkeeper, and he was named Swiss Super League Player of the Month in August. His Luzern spell established him as a regular first-team goalkeeper before he was listed with Hannover 96. Loretz’s 188-centimetre frame gives him a strong physical base in goal.
