Pierre Lees-Melou
Pierre Lees-Melou is a French midfielder born in Langon on 25 May 1993. Released by Girondins de Bordeaux, he continued his development with Langon FC before playing in the fifth tier for US Lège-Cap-Ferret while working as a schools’ sports coach. Dijon gave him his first professional contract in 2015, and he helped the club win promotion to Ligue 1 before establishing himself in the top flight. In 2017, Lees-Melou moved to Nice, where he played in European competition and developed as an attacking or wide midfielder. He joined Norwich City in 2021 for a short Premier League spell before returning to France with Stade Brestois in 2022. At Brest, Lees-Melou was redeployed as a deep midfielder, contributing to build-up play, ball recovery and defensive cover during the club’s third-place 2023–24 campaign and Champions League qualification. He joined Paris FC in 2025, adding experience to the promoted side.
