Philipp François Köhn

Philipp François Köhn is a Swiss goalkeeper born in Dinslaken, Germany, on 2 April 1998. He developed in Germany with Schalke 04 and VfB Stuttgart before joining RB Leipzig in 2017. In 2018, Köhn moved to Red Bull Salzburg, where he initially gained senior experience with feeder side FC Liefering. A 2020–21 loan to Swiss club FC Wil gave him a regular first-team role, and he returned to Salzburg prepared for a larger opportunity. From the 2021–22 season, Köhn became Salzburg’s starting goalkeeper, helping the club win two Austrian Bundesliga titles and an Austrian Cup while reaching the Champions League round of 16. He was voted the Austrian Bundesliga’s Best Goalkeeper for 2022–23. In July 2023, Köhn joined Monaco, where he remains registered, and he has represented Switzerland after appearing for Germany at youth level, including involvement in the Swiss squad for the 2022 World Cup.
