Pajtim Kasami

Pajtim Kasami is a Swiss midfielder born in Struga, North Macedonia, on 2 June 1992. He developed in Switzerland before early spells with Liverpool and Lazio, and represented Switzerland in the 2009 FIFA U-17 World Cup triumph. After beginning his senior career in Italy with Bellinzona and Palermo, Kasami joined Fulham in 2011. At Fulham, he produced one of the Premier League’s memorable finishes in 2013, controlling a long pass before volleying against Crystal Palace. The strike was nominated for the FIFA Puskás Award. Kasami then moved to Olympiakos Piraeus, where he won two Greek Super League titles and a Greek Cup, before continuing with FC Sion, FC Basel 1893 and Sampdoria. His later career also included returns to Olympiakos Piraeus and FC Sion.
