Petros Ioannou
Petros Ioannou is a Cypriot defender from Xylofagou who stands 1.85 metres tall. He developed in the youth ranks of AO Agia Napa before moving to Ethnikos Achna in 2016. Ioannou spent the 2017–2021 period with Ethnikos Achna, where he made senior appearances in the Cypriot First Division. A 2021/22 loan spell at AO Agia Napa gave him regular football in the Cypriot Second Division, including goals from a defensive position. He returned to Ethnikos Achna in 2022 and became a more established player, making more than 50 league appearances across the 2023/24 and 2024/25 campaigns. In July 2025, Ioannou joined AEK Larnaca, his current club, and later won the Cypriot Super Cup with the team. His senior Cyprus debut came against Estonia on 18 November 2025, marking his progression from local development to international football.
