Patrik Iľko

Patrik Iľko is a Slovak midfielder who developed through the youth system of MŠK Žilina. He was featuring for Žilina’s under-19 side by July 2018 before progressing to the club’s B team. Between 2018 and 2020, Iľko made 29 appearances and scored seven goals for Žilina B in Slovakia’s second tier. He made his senior top-flight debut on 22 February 2020, coming on as a substitute in Žilina’s 1–0 victory over Pohronie. By the 2021–22 season, he had made 24 Fortuna Liga appearances, continuing his integration into the first team. Iľko produced five goals and six assists in 30 league matches during the 2023–24 campaign. Primarily used in wide attacking roles, he has also been described as a versatile wide playmaker. He represented Slovakia at under-21 level, scoring twice in three appearances in 2022, and remains with Žilina.
