Paolo Gozzi Iweru
Paolo Gozzi Iweru is an Italian defender born in Turin on 25 April 2001. He developed at Pozzomaina before joining Juventus’s academy in 2015, progressing through the club’s youth structure and representing Italy at several youth levels. On 13 April 2019, Gozzi made his Serie A debut for Juventus against SPAL, becoming the first player born in the 21st century to appear for the club’s senior team. He later played for Juventus Under-23, helping the side win the 2020 Coppa Italia Serie C. In 2021, Gozzi moved to Spain with Fuenlabrada and gained experience in La Liga 2. Juventus then sold him to Genoa in 2022, after which he continued his development through loans and spent 2023 with Red Star FC 93. Gozzi signed for Estac Troyes in August 2024, adding Ligue 2 football to a career across Italy, Spain and France.
