Paul Doyle

Paul Doyle is an Irish midfielder, born in Westport on 10 April 1998. He began with Westport United before joining Sligo Rovers’ academy in 2014 and making his senior league debut against Derry City in October 2016. After limited first-team opportunities at Sligo, Doyle moved to University College Dublin in 2018, becoming a regular across four seasons. He helped UCD win the Collingwood Cup and First Division title in 2018, then played in the 2021 promotion playoff victory over Waterford. His performances that season earned selection in the PFAI First Division Team of the Year. Doyle joined Dundalk in 2022 and made his European debut in the 2023 UEFA Europa Conference League qualifiers against KA Akureyri. He is now registered with Dungannon Swifts, continuing a career built through Ireland’s professional game.
