Patrickson Luiggy Delgado Villa

Patrickson Luiggy Delgado Villa is an Ecuadorian midfielder born in Ibarra on 17 October 2003. He developed at Independiente del Valle before moving to the Netherlands on loan with Jong Ajax in early 2022. Delgado made his Jong Ajax debut in a 3–3 draw with FC Dordrecht on 11 March 2022. During the 2022/23 Eerste Divisie season, he made 24 appearances and operated across central midfield and defensive positions, including centre-back and left-back. After returning to Independiente del Valle in late 2023, he joined FC Dallas on loan in January 2024. In his first MLS season, Delgado recorded four goals and two assists in 23 appearances, including his first league goal against Real Salt Lake. FC Dallas exercised his purchase option in January 2025, while Ecuador has selected him for senior World Cup qualifying squads; he is yet to debut.
