Promise Oluwatobi Emmanuel Akinpelu
Promise David attacks space and runs beyond the line, using his 1.96 m frame to shield the ball. From 2019 to 2021 he progressed through youth academies before signing with Valletta FC in January 2022. He then moved to Kalju. At Nõmme Kalju in 2024 he scored 14 goals in 16 league games. In May 2025 Promise David helped Union SG win their first Belgian title in 90 years. In March 2025 he switched allegiance to Canada and earned his first senior call-up. As a Number 9, he holds and finishes moves, pressing high and threatening the back post.
