Promise David attacks space and runs beyond the line, using his 1.96 m frame to shield the ball. From 2019 to 2021 he progressed through youth academies before signing with Valletta FC in January 2022. He then moved to Kalju. At Nõmme Kalju in 2024 he scored 14 goals in 16 league games.
