Pathé Ismaël Ciss

Pathé Ismaël Ciss is a Senegalese midfielder born in Dakar on 16 March 1994. He developed at Diambars, spending eight years in its youth ranks before graduating to the senior side in 2014, where he remained until 2017. That year, Ciss moved to União da Madeira in Portugal, then joined Famalicão on loan after the club’s relegation. He continued his progression in Spain, joining Fuenlabrada on loan in 2019; the move became permanent in 2020. In July 2021, Rayo Vallecano signed Ciss, taking him into La Liga at 27. Primarily a central or defensive midfielder, he contributes to ball-winning and midfield coverage. Ciss made his Senegal debut in September 2022, then represented the country at the Qatar World Cup, starting against Ecuador and England.
