Petar Bočkaj

Petar Bočkaj is a Croatian midfielder born in Zagreb on 23 July 1996. He developed in the Dinamo Zagreb academy before beginning his senior career with Inter Zaprešić and NK Lokomotiva Zagreb. His performances at Lokomotiva led to a move to NK Osijek in June 2017, where he became an important player in domestic football and European qualifying campaigns. At Osijek, Bočkaj built a reputation for powerful left-footed delivery, dangerous free-kicks and goals scored directly from corners. He returned to Dinamo Zagreb in December 2021 and contributed to the club’s Croatian top-flight titles in 2021–22 and 2022–23. During the 2023–24 season, he played on loan for Pafos FC in Cyprus and helped the club win the Cyprus Cup. Bočkaj subsequently returned to Croatia and is listed with NK Varaždin, while his international experience includes Croatia’s under-21 level.
