Patrick Berg

Patrick Berg is a Norwegian defensive midfielder who developed at Bodø/Glimt and made his senior debut for the club in July 2014, aged 16. A member of the Berg football family, he is the son of Ørjan Berg and grandson of Harald Berg, both associated with the club. Berg established himself as Bodø/Glimt’s holding midfielder during the club’s rise under Kjetil Knutsen. He helped the team win successive Eliteserien titles in 2020 and 2021. In December 2021, he transferred to Lens, where he made only a limited number of appearances before returning to Bodø/Glimt in August 2022. Back in Norway, Berg resumed his role as a midfield anchor, helping build attacks from deep, screen the defence and connect play with forward passes. He remains registered with Bodø/Glimt, where his right-footed distribution and positional discipline continue to shape the team’s midfield.
