Paul Ayongo
Paul Ayongo is a Ghanaian forward born on 16 November 1996. He developed his professional career in Portugal, making his debut for Paços de Ferreira in 2018. With Paços, Ayongo was part of the side that won the Segunda Liga in 2018–19 and secured promotion to the top flight. He then continued in Portugal’s second tier with CD Mafra, Académico de Viseu and GD Chaves, building experience across the forward line. In 2022, he moved to Australia to join Central Coast Mariners, helping the club win the 2022–23 A-League Championship. Ayongo later played for Luxembourg’s Swift Hesperange, including a UEFA Champions League qualifying appearance against Slovan Bratislava. He is now registered with Ararat-Armenia, and his mobility allows him to operate centrally or from wide attacking positions.
