Paul Joseph Arriola Hendricks

Paul Joseph Arriola Hendricks is an American midfielder from Chula Vista, California, whose game combines wide attacking movement with relentless defensive work. He developed in the IMG Soccer Academy and Arsenal FC programs before joining the LA Galaxy Academy in 2013. That year, Arriola moved to Club Tijuana, beginning his senior career in Liga MX and gaining experience close to home. In 2017, he transferred to D.C. United, where his pressing, crossing and willingness to cover wide defensive positions broadened his role. Arriola later joined Swansea City on loan before moving to FC Dallas in 2022. With Dallas, he operated mainly from the wing, using diagonal runs and quick combinations to contribute in attack. He joined Seattle Sounders in 2025, adding versatility and energy to the club’s midfield options. Internationally, Arriola has represented the United States and was part of Gold Cup-winning squads in 2017 and 2021.
