Owain Warlow

Owain Warlow is a Welsh midfielder from Trefforest who developed in Lincoln City’s youth academy. He made his professional debut for Lincoln in February 2007, playing at left-back or as a left-sided midfielder, with set-piece delivery already a notable part of his game. Warlow represented Wales Under-21, earning his first cap in a 4–0 win over Northern Ireland during the 2007–08 period. Released by Lincoln in 2009, he returned to Wales with Llanelli AFC, making his debut as a substitute in a Europa League victory over Motherwell. He then played in England for Gainsborough Trinity, Worksop Town and Tamworth between 2011 and 2015. At Worksop, Warlow moved from left-back into a left-wing role, where his crossing, creativity and goal threat became more prominent. After a short retirement, he returned with Penybont in 2016 and remains registered there, combining playing duties with a technical-coaching role introduced in 2024.
