Óscar Clemente Mues

Óscar Clemente is a Spanish central midfielder born in Arona on 26 March 1999. He developed at Club Atlético Chenet before joining Atlético Madrid’s academy in 2013. With Atlético’s under-19 side, Clemente won the División de Honor Juvenil and Copa del Rey Juvenil in 2017–18, then moved into Atlético Madrid B and scored 10 goals in the 2019–20 Segunda División B season. He made his Atlético first-team debut on 18 January 2020, replacing Vitolo against Eibar in La Liga. Seeking regular senior football, Clemente joined Las Palmas in 2020 and spent three seasons there, recording 30 appearances in 2022–23. He moved to Levante in 2023 and later had a loan spell with Cartagena. Clemente subsequently continued his career with Grasshoppers, adding Swiss football to a pathway shaped by technical midfield play and positional versatility.
