Oriol Rey Erenas

Oriol Rey is a Spanish defensive midfielder who was born in Barcelona on 25 February 1998. He joined Barcelona’s academy in 2008 and spent nine years in the club’s youth system, including the Under-19 A team. In 2017, Rey moved to Leeds United, later returning to Spain on loan with UB Conquense, where he made his senior debut in 2018. He then joined Real Valladolid, playing primarily for the reserves before making his professional and La Liga debuts in January 2021. Seeking regular football, Rey signed for Mirandés in 2021 and established himself as a starter across two seasons. In July 2023, he joined Levante, where he operates as a holding midfielder and helps circulate possession from deep. Oriol Rey can also cover central midfield or centre-back, using positioning and interceptions to support Levante’s defensive structure.
