Opa Sanganté
Opa Sanganté is a centre-back born in Diannah-Malari, Senegal, on 1 February 1991, and represents Guinea-Bissau internationally. He began developing in France after his family moved there when he was six, spending formative years with Franconville FC and US Saint-Denis. Sanganté progressed through the lower divisions before joining Châteauroux, where he helped win the National 1 title in 2016–17 and earn promotion to Ligue 2. He made his professional debut for Châteauroux in a 3–2 victory over Brest on 28 July 2017. After six seasons with the club, he moved to Dunkerque in July 2023. In October 2020, Sanganté chose Guinea-Bissau and debuted against Senegal on 13 November that year. He has since represented the Djurtus at the 2021 and 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, while his 1.88-metre frame supports his work in defensive and aerial contests.
