Owen Michael Wolff

Owen Michael Wolff is an American midfielder for Austin FC, born in Snellville, Georgia, on December 30, 2004. He developed in the Columbus Crew academy in 2018–19 and Atlanta United’s academy in 2019–20 before joining Austin during the club’s inaugural preseason in 2021. On September 9, 2021, Wolff became Austin’s first Homegrown signing, then made his professional debut in a 3–1 victory over Sporting Kansas City on November 3. He scored his first professional goal against Real Salt Lake on March 11, 2023, becoming part of an eighth father-son pairing to score in MLS alongside his father, Josh. Wolff represented the United States at the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup, starting all five matches as the team reached the quarterfinals and recording one goal and two assists. Primarily a central midfielder, he has also played on the right wing and at outside back. Austin extended Wolff’s contract through 2030 in January 2026.
