Oliver George Arthur Watkins
Oliver George Arthur Watkins attacks space, times his runs and threatens the channel as a centre-forward for Villa. Oliver George Arthur Watkins rose from Exeter City's academy to Brentford, laying the groundwork for a professional ascent. He joined Aston Villa in 2020. At Brentford he scored 26 goals in 2019–20 and helped fuel their rise to the play-off final. He scored on his England debut against San Marino in 2021. In the 2023–24 season he tallied 19 goals and 13 assists, earning Premier League Playmaker of the Season. In Emery's system he stays high to press, links play with one-touch layoffs and attacks the back post for finishing moves.
