Oleksandr Tymchyk

Oleksandr Tymchyk is a Ukrainian right-back who plays for Dynamo Kyiv. Born in Kryklyvets on 20 January 1997, he developed at BRW-BIK before joining Dynamo Kyiv’s academy in 2013. He progressed through the club’s under-19 and under-21 teams, making his senior debut in a Ukrainian Cup match against Zorya Luhansk in 2016, followed by his league debut against Dnipro. Loan spells at Stal Kamianske and Zorya Luhansk provided first-team experience, with his 2018–20 period at Zorya marking an important stage in his development. Tymchyk returned to Dynamo in August 2020 and was part of the side that won the domestic treble of league, cup and Super Cup in 2020/21. He made his Ukraine debut in September 2020, then represented the country at Euro 2020 and Euro 2024, appearing in three matches at the latter tournament. A quick, attack-minded full-back, Oleksandr Tymchyk contributes through overlapping runs, wide defending and recovery work.
