Oliver Sonne

Oliver Sonne is a Danish right-back born in Herfølge on 10 November 2000. He developed through Ejby IF, Rishøj IF and Herfølge BK before attracting attention through the Tonsser platform and joining FC Copenhagen in 2018. After working mainly with Copenhagen’s youth and reserve sides, Sonne returned to HB Køge in 2019 and began establishing himself in senior football. In May 2021, he moved to Silkeborg IF, where his energetic work on the right helped him become a regular in Denmark’s Superliga. Sonne scored the winning goal against AGF in the 2024 Danish Cup final, helping Silkeborg claim the trophy. Eligible through his Peruvian heritage, he debuted for Peru against Nicaragua in March 2024. He later joined Burnley in January 2025, adding an English club to a career built in Denmark and international football.
