Ole Kristian Selnæs

Ole Kristian Selnæs is a Norwegian defensive midfielder born in Trondheim on 7 July 1994. He developed through Sverresborg IF before joining the Rosenborg academy in 2009, where he helped the under-19 side win a national championship in 2011. Selnæs made his senior breakthrough at Rosenborg in 2012 and became a central figure in the club’s 2015 domestic double, winning the Eliteserien and Norwegian Cup. His performances also brought individual recognition as the 2015 Eliteserien Player of the Year and Midfielder of the Year. In January 2016, he moved to Saint-Étienne and continued developing in Ligue 1. After a spell with FC Zürich, Selnæs returned to Rosenborg in September 2023. He has also represented Norway at senior international level.
