Ömer Ali Şahiner

Ömer Ali Şahiner is a Turkish midfielder born in Bursa on 2 January 1992. He developed in the youth ranks of Konya Karabağ Gençlerbirliği before moving to Konya Şekerspor, where he began his senior career. In 2012, Şahiner joined Konyaspor and spent nearly nine years with the club, becoming an important first-team player and later serving as captain. During that period, he helped Konyaspor win the Turkish Cup and Turkish Super Cup in 2017. Şahiner moved to Başakşehir in January 2021, continuing his career in the Süper Lig. Although he began mainly as a right-sided winger or midfielder, he has also operated at full-back and in central midfield, reflecting his positional versatility. He represented Türkiye at senior level, making his debut in a friendly against Uzbekistan in June 2019, and remains registered with Başakşehir.
