Oleksandr Pikhalyonok
Oleksandr Pikhalyonok is a Ukrainian midfielder who developed in the Shakhtar Donetsk academy. He signed his first professional contract with Shakhtar in 2014 and helped the club reach the 2015 UEFA Youth League final. Pikhalyonok made his senior debut for Shakhtar against Oleksandriya on 31 May 2017. He then spent the 2018–19 period with FC Mariupol on loan, gaining regular senior experience. After joining Dnipro-1 on loan in October 2020 and moving there permanently in 2021, Pikhalyonok became a central creative player, recording 20 goals in more than 100 appearances. His passing helped Dnipro-1 build attacks and supported a productive partnership with Artem Dovbyk. Pikhalyonok joined Dynamo Kyiv in July 2024 and has also represented Ukraine, making his international debut against Ireland in the Nations League in June 2022.
