Ovidiu Ioan Perianu

Ovidiu Ioan Perianu is a Romanian defensive midfielder born in Bârlad on 16 April 2002. He developed at Viitorul Bârlad and FC Dinamo 1948 before progressing through the FCSB academy. Perianu made his senior debut for FCSB as a substitute against Alashkert in the UEFA Europa League in July 2019, then made his Romanian top-flight debut against FC Voluntari the following month. From 2022 to 2025, he gained experience on loan with FC Botoșani, Chindia Târgoviște, U Cluj, Gloria Buzău and Unirea Slobozia. At Slobozia, he made 34 appearances and scored twice. Primarily a holding midfielder, Perianu screens the defence, contests possession and recycles the ball with straightforward passing. He later joined CFR 1907 Cluj, while his international development included Romania’s under-17, under-18 and under-21 teams.
