Øystein Øvretveit
Øystein Øvretveit is a Norwegian goalkeeper born in Bergen on 25 June 1994. He began his youth development at Telavåg before progressing through the Skogsvåg and Hald cooperation team and joining SK Brann ahead of the 2009 season. At Brann, he made his senior debut on the opening day of the 2012 season, coming on against Rosenborg and becoming the club’s youngest top-flight goalkeeper. He later took loan spells at Vard Haugesund in 2013 and Nest-Sotra in 2015, joining Nest-Sotra permanently in 2016. In 2018, Øvretveit joined FK Jerv, where he established himself as a regular and helped the club earn promotion in 2021. He remained with Jerv during their 2022 Eliteserien campaign and their subsequent return to the First Division. Øvretveit joined Fredrikstad in 2025, adding experience from Norway’s top two divisions to the club’s goalkeeper group.
