Orri Steinn Óskarsson

Orri Steinn Óskarsson is an Icelandic centre-forward born in Reykjavík in 2004. He began at ÍF Grótta, making his senior debut in Iceland’s third tier at 13 and scoring twice in a 5–0 win over Höttur in August 2018. With Grótta, he was part of teams that secured successive promotions before joining FC Copenhagen’s academy in 2020. Óskarsson scored 39 goals in 29 matches for Copenhagen’s under-17 and under-19 sides during the 2020/21 season. He broke into the first team in 2023, scoring a hat-trick against Breiðablik in a Champions League qualifier. After scoring 10 Superliga goals and supplying four assists in 2023/24, he moved to Real Sociedad on 30 August 2024. A right-footed, 1.86-metre striker, Óskarsson combines penalty-box movement and finishing with aerial presence, link play and pressing, while also representing Iceland.
