Orri Sigurður Ómarsson
Orri Sigurður Ómarsson is an Icelandic centre-back who has built his career between Valur Reykjavik and Scandinavian football. After developing in Iceland, he joined Valur in 2015, beginning the first major senior chapter of his career. He moved to Sarpsborg 08 FF in early 2018 before returning to Valur permanently in February 2019. Since then, Orri has become an experienced defensive presence for the Reykjavík club, helping it win domestic honours and take part in UEFA qualifying campaigns. Standing 1.87m, he brings aerial strength to central defending and can also operate at right-back when required. His positioning and physical duels support Valur’s work without the ball, while his passing contributes to build-up play. Orri represented Iceland at youth level before making his senior debut in 2017.
