Olabanjo Alexander Ogunji

Olabanjo Alexander Ogunji is a Nigerian right-back who developed through Nigeria’s Real Sapphire Academy before beginning his senior career in Latvia. He first appeared for RFS in 2019, gaining experience in the Latvian football system. Ogunji joined Auda in 2021 and helped the club win promotion from the 1. Liga to the top flight. His performances led to a move to Riga, where he spent the 2022–2024 period and was involved in domestic competition and UEFA Conference League qualifying. With Riga, Ogunji won the Latvian Cup in 2023 and the Latvian Super Cup in 2024. He returned to Auda in July 2024 and remains part of the club’s squad. Used mainly at right-back or wing-back, Ogunji can also move inside during possession, combining defensive positioning with support in build-up.
