Opa Nguette is a pace-driven forward who thrives by attacking space and running beyond the line, using bursts to threaten the channel. Nguette broke through with a professional debut at Valenciennes in 2012 and later played a key role in Metz’s Ligue 2 title win in 2018–19. He then earned his first Senegal cap in 2017 against Nigeria. Opa Nguette’s turning point arrived with a late World Cup qualifier goal in 2017, helping secure Senegal’s qualification. His game centers on progressive carries and tight-space dribbling, linking play when deployed as a forward. When stationed as a striker or winger, Nguette presses high and explodes into space, finishing moves with rapid finishes. Opa Nguette creates separation for the team by attacking the back line and occupying space to stretch defenses.
