Ousseynou Ndiaye

Ousseynou Ndiaye is a Senegalese midfielder born in Leona Thiaroye on 24 November 1998. He developed in the academy system at Lyon, where he also featured for the reserve side and was included in the senior squad for the 2018–19 Coupe de la Ligue. Ndiaye then moved into senior football with Bourg-en-Bresse 01, gaining experience in several midfield roles, including defensive midfield, an attacking position and a double pivot. That spell tested his ability to protect the defence while also supporting build-up play. After leaving Lyon, he continued his progression in France with Orléans, making 25 appearances and scoring once during the 2022–23 season. Ndiaye later joined Aubagne, adding further experience in the French lower divisions. His career reflects a shift from academy prospect to a versatile midfielder trusted with both defensive coverage and possession work.
