Ofir Meir Marciano
Ofir Meir Marciano is an Israeli goalkeeper born in Ashdod on 7 October 1989. He developed at hometown club Ashdod and made his senior breakthrough there in 2008, establishing himself over seven seasons in Israel. In 2015, Marciano moved abroad on loan to Royal Excel Mouscron, beginning a European chapter that continued in Scotland. He joined Hibernian in 2016 and helped the club win the Scottish Championship in 2016–17, securing promotion to the Premiership. Feyenoord signed him in 2021, and he contributed during the club’s run to the 2022 UEFA Europa Conference League final before winning the Eredivisie in 2022–23. Marciano made his Israel debut in 2014 and remained involved with the national team across subsequent campaigns. He returned home in 2023 to join Hapoel Beer Sheva, adding the 2024–25 State Cup and 2025–26 Super Cup to his honours.
