Owen Maës

Owen Maës is a French midfielder whose career has developed through academy, reserve and senior football in France and Belgium. He came through SM Caen, remaining there until 2016, before continuing his development with Caen B and RC Lens B. Maës also spent the 2019–20 season with Monaco B. He later joined Red Star FC 93, gaining further experience in France’s National division during 2021–22. At Sedan in 2022–23, he became a regular starter, making 22 appearances and scoring once. In August 2023, Maës moved to RAAL La Louvière, where he contributed two goals and one assist in 23 Challenger Pro League appearances during 2024–25. The 175-centimetre midfielder can operate as an attacking or central midfielder, linking midfield with attack while helping retain possession and cover space.
