Oleksii Kashchuk

Oleksii Kashchuk is a Ukrainian midfielder from Novohrad-Volynskyi who developed in the Shakhtar Donetsk academy. He won Ukrainian Youth Football League titles at under-14 and under-15 level before becoming the top scorer for Shakhtar’s under-16 side in 2014/15, with 23 goals in 21 matches. Kashchuk later helped Shakhtar’s under-21 team win the Ukrainian Youth Championship. He began senior football with FC Mariupol, making 15 appearances and scoring four goals in the interrupted 2021/22 season. A move to Sabah FA brought a breakthrough campaign in 2022/23, when he scored 16 goals in 31 matches. Internationally, Kashchuk appeared in all seven matches as Ukraine won the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup and later helped the under-21 side reach the 2023 European Championship semifinals. After returning briefly to Shakhtar, he joined Qarabag in 2024 and continued his career in Azerbaijan.
