Osman Jovan Kakay

Osman Jovan Kakay is a defender who developed in the Queens Park Rangers academy after joining the club in 2005. He signed his first professional contract in 2015 and began senior football on loan at Livingston in 2016, later featuring for Chesterfield and Partick Thistle. At Partick Thistle, he was also used as a right winger, adding experience beyond his usual defensive role. Returning to QPR, Kakay became a first-team squad member and made 113 appearances between 2020 and 2024. He scored his first professional goal against Plymouth Argyle in the 2020 EFL Cup, then registered his first Championship goal in a 2–0 win over Stoke City in 2021. After leaving QPR in 2024, he continued his career with Boavista before joining FK Košice in Slovakia. Kakay has represented Sierra Leone since his 2018 debut, including the country's 0–0 draw with Algeria at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.
