Oualid El Hajjam

Oualid El Hajjam is a Moroccan defender born in Châteauroux, France, on 19 February 1991. He developed with FC Étoile de Châteauroux and FC Déolois before joining the Le Mans academy in 2006. El Hajjam began his senior rise with Amiens SC, where he helped the club earn successive promotions from the Championnat National to Ligue 1 between 2012 and 2019. He then moved to ESTAC Troyes and was part of the side that won the 2020–21 Ligue 2 title. In 2022, he joined Le Havre AC, contributing to another promotion campaign that ended with the 2022–23 Ligue 2 championship. Primarily a right-back, Oualid El Hajjam has also covered at centre-back and left-back. He made his Morocco debut in a 2–0 win over Uzbekistan on 27 March 2018 and has recorded 69 Ligue 1 appearances and more than 114 in Ligue 2.
