Oussama El Azzouzi

Oussama El Azzouzi is a Moroccan midfielder born in Veenendaal, Netherlands, on 29 May 2001. He developed in Dutch football with VRC, Vitesse Arnhem, DOVO and FC Groningen before beginning his senior career at Emmen in 2021. During the 2021–22 season, El Azzouzi made 34 appearances as Emmen won the Eerste Divisie and secured promotion to the Eredivisie. He joined Union Saint-Gilloise in July 2022 and experienced European football as the Belgian club reached the Europa League quarter-finals. In July 2023, he moved to Bologna, where he made 18 appearances in the 2023–24 season, scoring twice and providing two assists. El Azzouzi has represented Morocco U23 and helped the team win the 2023 U-23 Africa Cup of Nations while qualifying for the Paris Olympics. He made his senior Morocco debut in a 3–0 victory over Liberia on 17 October 2023.
