Ousseni Bouda

Ousseni Bouda is a Burkina Faso winger who developed from street football in Ouagadougou through the Right to Dream Academy in Ghana. He moved to the United States in 2015 and attended Millbrook School, where he scored 156 goals in 82 appearances. In 2018, Bouda was named Gatorade National Boys Soccer Player of the Year. He joined Stanford University in 2019 and earned Pac-12 Freshman of the Year honors after recording five goals and five assists. In 2021, he led the conference with nine assists, highlighting his ability to create as well as finish attacks. San Jose Earthquakes selected Bouda eighth overall in the 2022 MLS SuperDraft. He made his Burkina Faso senior debut in June 2022 and scored against Senegal in a 2024 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
