Olivier Maxime Boscagli

Olivier Maxime Boscagli is a French centre-back born in Monaco on 18 November 1997. He developed with FC Beausoleil before joining Nice’s academy in 2013 and making his senior debut during the 2014–15 season. Boscagli represented France from under-17 to under-21 level and was part of the team that won the 2016 UEFA European Under-19 Championship. After a 2017–18 loan at Nîmes, he returned to Nice before moving to PSV Eindhoven in July 2019. Initially used as a versatile defender, he increasingly operated as a left-sided centre-back, contributing through progressive passing and interceptions. At PSV, Boscagli won two Eredivisie titles, two KNVB Cups and three Johan Cruyff Shields. A serious knee injury in April 2022 kept him out for more than 300 days, but he returned in February 2023. He later joined Brighton, continuing his career as a ball-playing defender.
