Ovidiu Alexandru Bic

Ovidiu Alexandru Bic is a Romanian midfielder born in Abrud on 23 February 1994. He began his professional career with FC Bihor Oradea in the second tier, playing there from 2012 to 2014. In 2015, Bic joined Gaz Metan Mediaș and helped the club secure promotion in 2016 before establishing himself in Romania’s top flight. On 5 January 2018, he moved to CS Universitatea Craiova on a four-and-a-half-year contract. During that spell, he spent time on loan with Chindia Târgoviște in 2019–20 and Hapoel Ironi Kiryat Shmona in Israel in 2021–22. Bic joined Universitatea Cluj on 1 July 2022, where he has continued as a central midfielder. At Cluj, he provides a disciplined presence in midfield, contributing to build-up play, ball recovery and transitions while operating between defensive and box-to-box roles.
