Omar Bezzekhami

Omar Bezzekhami is a French midfielder born in Rouen on 18 December 1995. He developed in the Quevilly Rouen setup and helped the reserve team win the DH Normandie title in 2016. On 1 July 2018, Bezzekhami joined FC Rouen 1899, beginning a sustained spell in the club’s senior structure. He contributed to Rouen’s National 3 championship in 2018–19 before becoming a regular in National 2. Bezzekhami later played a part in the side’s 2022–23 National 2 title-winning campaign and continued with the club in National 1. His role has been that of a central midfielder who links play, circulates possession and supports team structure. He is currently registered with Gobelins, while Rouen remains a key part of his documented career.
