Ofri Arad
Ofri Arad is an Israeli defender who developed at Maccabi Haifa and progressed through the club’s youth system. He helped Maccabi Haifa’s under-19 side win the 2016–17 Israeli Elite Division title before making his senior debut in a Toto Cup match against Hapoel Ironi Kiryat Shmona in August 2018. Arad then made his Israeli Premier League debut in December 2018 and scored his first league goal a year later. In 2020–21, he made 32 league appearances as Maccabi Haifa won its first championship in a decade. He moved to Kairat Almaty on loan in February 2023, later becoming part of the team that won the 2024 Kazakhstan Premier League and 2025 Super Cup. Primarily a centre-back earlier in his career, Arad has also operated as a defensive midfielder, contributing to build-up play and defensive transitions. He has represented Israel from youth level through the senior team and is now part of the FCSB squad.
