Nuno Miguel Gomes dos Santos

Nuno Santos, whose full name is Nuno Miguel Gomes dos Santos, is a Portuguese winger born in Trofa on 13 February 1995. He developed through Benfica’s system and made his professional debut for Benfica B in August 2014, scoring eight goals in his first season. Santos later made a first-team appearance for Benfica in September 2015, but his progress was interrupted by a knee injury that year. He moved to Rio Ave in 2017, where he spent three seasons developing into a regular attacking contributor. In August 2020, Santos joined Sporting CP, beginning the most prominent stage of his senior career. At Sporting, he has operated from the left flank as both a winger and wing-back. This deployment has combined his crossing and chance creation with deeper running and defensive recovery, while keeping Santos involved in Sporting’s attacking play.
