Nikolay Zolotov
Nikolay Zolotov is a Belarusian defender born in Vitebsk on 11 November 1994. He developed professionally with FC Vitebsk and Shakhter Soligorsk before moving abroad. In December 2019, Zolotov joined Russian Premier League club Ural Yekaterinburg, leaving after his contract was ended by mutual consent in January 2021. He then continued with Kolos Kovalivka in Ukraine and later joined SC Bastia on loan in France’s Ligue 2 in 2022. Zolotov also represented Belarus in the Euro 2021 and 2022 World Cup qualifying campaigns. His career has included work on both sides of the defence, with the left-back position identified as his primary role. Since joining Zimbru in July 2025, Nikolay Zolotov has added experience to the Moldovan club’s defensive unit.
